1 m propolis trap

Clipping pollen trap strips. Can cover the whole area needed.

Strip width 50 cm

Propolis trap strips, 50 cm wide. Can be cut to size to cover the entire required area, regardless of the hive type.

The propolis collection mesh is placed directly on the top bars of the upper hive body.

Using a collection mesh yields cleaner propolis (without wood chips or wax impurities).

Once the mesh is filled with propolis, remove it and place it in the freezer (at a minimum temperature of -15°C).

Frozen propolis becomes very brittle. Simply roll the mesh and rub it with your hands or tap it against a hard surface (ideally inside a bag), and the propolis pieces will easily flake off.
